When you request quotes, we collect the details you enter: your name, mobile number, email address, the suburbs you're moving between, your moving date, what you're moving, any notes you add and any optional extra help you tick (such as cleaning or storage).
To pass your request to removalists so they can contact you with a quote for your move. We count the optional extra-help ticks to understand what else movers need; that information isn't passed on. We don't use your details for anything else.
With your consent, we share your request with up to 3 removal companies that service your route. Each company may contact you directly by phone or email about this move. Removalists may pay Movelane for receiving requests. We never sell your details to marketing lists.
Our website and request form run on Netlify, a hosting provider that may store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Our email is hosted in Australia.
We keep requests for up to 12 months so we can resolve any questions about a quote, then delete them.
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing info@movelane.com.au. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
